Adventure in Bali with your family, with unique cultural experiences and a host of interest for everyone. From 4WD tours and adventure activities to community-based tourism projects, visits to organic farms and meetings with local families.

Transfer by private vehicle to Ubud, the cultural and artistic centre of Bali. Dine in the evening, overlooking lush rice fields. Go to the village of Tunjunk to immerse yourself in local life whilst supporting a community-based tourism project. Help out with farming and see people climb trees to collect coconuts. Choose from various daytime activities and in the evening see a traditional Bali dance. Go on an excursion in a 4 wheel drive jeep and explore Bali’s interior. Drive to a Balinese family compound to meet the family. Visit an organic farm and learn about the growing of organic produce. Now, head to a beach resort and relax, or cruise to an island oasis for the day.

Daily Itinerary

  • Start
  • Day 1: Ubud

    Upon arrival you’ll be met and transferred by private vehicle to Ubud; in the centre of the island. Check in to your hotel, after which you have some time to relax. Ubud is the cultural and artistic centre of Bali, and has lots to discover simply by walking around.

    You will dine on Indonesian food tonight at Warung Enak, which overlooks lush rice fields.

  • Day 2: Taman Sari Buwana Farming Experience

    This morning, go to the village of Tunjunk to immerse yourself in local life whilst supporting a community-based tourism project.

    First, visit the village elementary school, and then get ready to help out with the farming. Put on a farmer’s hat and mosquito repellent and collect your mattock (farm tool). The farmer will then lead you out into the fields and show you how to harvest, plant or transplant the rice, depending on the season.

    Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to observe local life in the village. See people climb trees to collect coconuts and learn how cassava is boiled, before taking lunch at the farm.

    Head back to the hotel after lunch. On the way, stop at the picturesque temple of Taman Ayun, set in tropical gardens. Also the iconic Tanah Lot Temple which sits on a volcanic rock out in the sea.

    Once back in Ubud, the rest of the day is free at leisure.

  • Day 3: Optional:Rafting

    Option: Rafting the Ayung RiverMeet your guides who will brief you on safety and paddling techniques. Then begin your rafting adventure as you paddle through spectacular scenery for 2 hours. You will be treated to an Indonesian lunch at the end of your journey. In the afternoon, head back to Ubud and explore as you wish.This evening you will go to a local village to see a traditional Balinese dance. Dine at the Tropical Bali Restaurant, which serves a selection of Balinese and international cuisine.

  • Day 4: Explore Bali in a jeep

    Go on an excursion in a 4 wheel drive jeep today and explore Bali’s interior.

    Passing through small villages and down winding lanes you will reach a traditional Balinese family compound. Here the family will welcome you and share details of their life over tea or coffee. They will be happy to answer any questions you have about their culture.

    Continue to the edge of Bratan Lake, then board a boat and cross to the opposite side to an organic farm where you will go on a tour and learn about the growing and distribution of the farm’s organic produce. If the season is right, you may get the chance to go strawberry picking. At the farm, enjoy a delicious lunch made with its fresh produce.

    In the afternoon you can choose to drive through more scenic countryside to a unique temple with a palm-fiber roof, or you can choose one of the following.Option: Tree Top AdventureTransfer to Bali Tree Top Adventure Park and meet your professional guide who will take journey through the safety, equipment and journey details. You will be attached to a life-line support continuously, and Patrol Guides are all around the circuit ready to offer assistance or advice. The park has also been designed to minimize damage to the trees, with an innovative compression system. Once your briefing is over, you’re free to go on as many circuits as you like. We recommend the Green Discovery Circuit first to get used to the experience. There are a whole range of experiences and adventures here; something for everyone.Option: Quad/BuggyYour guide will meet your for a safety briefing and practice session. Choose either an off-road buggy or Quad bike to ride. Then you will go off on a one hour adventure through fields, tracks and villages. You will have time to take photos as you make some stops on the way, including a coffee break to sample the local Java at a traditional coffee house. Note: minimum driving age is 16 years.Afterwards, continue to Bali’s first beach resort, Sanur.

    Once checked in at your hotel, the rest of your evening is free at leisure.

  • Day 5: Sanur

    Your day is at leisure to enjoy your resort and the beach.Option: Cruise to Nusa LembonganTransfer to Benoa harbor, where your luxurious boat is waiting to take you on the journey to the island oasis of Nusa Lembongan. Water-based activity options include snorkeling, reef-viewing, banana boat rides and a glass bottom boat ride. Other options include scuba diving, a massage and a mangrove tour to see the life of the island’s fishermen. At midday you will be treated to a barbecue buffet lunch with complimentary drinks. Around 4pm the boat will take you back to Benoa harbor where you will transfer to you hotel.Option: Surfing LessonTransfer to Legian or Kuta, where your personal instructor will take you through the basics of surfing in a pool, before taking you out to the ocean. The session lasts about two and a half hours and will be suited to your preference and ability.Option: Waterbom ParkTransfer to this fun-packed water park which features over 100 different rides and activities; from relaxing pools and rivers to huge water slides. There is also a park for younger children.Enjoy dinner at your leisure this evening.

  • Day 6: Sanur-Denpasar

    Your day is free at leisure until you transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
