On the balloon ride over the temples of Bagan, the driver was aiming to land on an island in the Irrawaddy River, but the wind made him land on the roof of a small boat which he managed in a remarkably relaxed way.

Many of the tea shops all over Myanmar have a great atmosphere and are full with locals who come not only for tea, but also to discuss business or simply for socializing.

Watching the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. When the sun cast its last rays, the stupa turned gold and orange and the entire pagoda looked like a mountain of gold.

Cycling around Koh Trong Island in Northeastern Cambodia is the best way to come close with nature and local life. Planting a tree at the local Wat was an unforgettable experience for me.

Take a day biking tour in Hoi An. When riding the small narrow countryside roads, you get to see water buffalos, rice and organic vegetable fields and local farming villages. It is really the best way to feel the Vietnamese way of life.

My Most Amazing Travel Experience:
While travelling in the mountains of Ha Giang in the far  North of Vietnam, I was excited seeing the spectacular landscapes and experienced the daily life of the local hill tribes. At that moment, I wanted to shout: I love you Vietnam!

My Dream Trip:
A cycling trip from the coast of Vietnam, through the central highlands into the heart of Cambodia.

My Insider Tip for Vietnam:
Take a day biking tour in Hoi An. When riding the small narrow countryside roads, you get to see water buffalos, rice and organic vegetable fields and local farming villages. It is really the best way to feel the Vietnamese way of life.

Reaching to the top of Mount Fansipan; as well as exploring Hang En (Swallow) cave in Phong Nha. Both made me realize how small people are in comparison to nature!

My Dream Trip:
Rafting on Telaga Waja River and cycling along the track route through charming villages on an exhilarating downhill ride from Mount Batur in Bali.

My Insider Tip for Vietnam:
Trekking in Pu Luong Nature Reserve is a great combination with a Halong Bay cruise as it shows you the best of Vietnam's bizarre limestone karst world.

Travel to North Vietnam during Tet holiday (every year in Jan/Feb) as you get to see lots of local festivals and blooming flowers guarantee for an amazing road trip.

Swimming in Halong bay at dark night to see the phosphorescence,  the water was sparkling, it was amazing as I was swimming in a crystal pool.

A trip through Laos and Cambodia to visit the highlights of these beautiful countries.

Street food tour in Hanoi is a great chance to discover the daily life of local and try different local dishes. Stroll to the local market, walk through the small lanes and streets of Hanoi with street food blogger.
